Composed to reflect the music of Even-song

Judith Ward (b. 1967 )

After studying at Oxford and Durham Universities, Judith Ward taught in secondary schools, followed by tutoring at Reading University and teaching for music services in Berkshire and Oxfordshire. She is now also a church musician. Her work as a choral conductor and teacher leads her to keep performers in mind when composing, and her output encompasses work for both professional and amateur musicians.

Her music has been described as “inspiring and accessible”, with “depth and emotion”, and her vocal music as “always very singable”. Her choral music is most widely known and has been performed across the UK, Europe and USA. She is also a violinist and sings in a number of choirs.
